Wild World Map (A3)

A map for the curious and creature loving. 

This map started with 16 animals, let’s just say I got carried away… I have tried many times to count, and I always lose track around 106… let’s just say that I had a wild time researching and illustrating and I hope it brings as much joy and prompts as many questions for you as it has for me. 

Tiny Bison encourages kids to go wild from time to time too - if this is in your room then feel free to add your own tiny touches! If you stuck a pin (with adult permission) in all the places you’ve visited we wouldn’t be mad. Or maybe add a sticker to your favourite animals on the map! 

I’m bias, but this is a great addition to a children’s space. I added all the species names to encourage kids to go off and research the animals that capture their interests and I hope it inspires some daydreaming of all the weird and wild places out there. Which is why I created a Wild World Zine to add on to the map. It takes a closer look at the animals across the continents and is full of facts and tips on starting your own animal research.

D E T A I L S

Dimensions: 420mm x 297mm (A3) - I only print this map in A3 as I wanted to make sure all the tiny details of the illustration are crystal clear.

At Tiny Bison I’ve really considered the materials used to make our products and ensured they’re as planet loving as we are. 
The paper of our Wild World Map is called ‘Elephant Natural’ and it’s as majestic as its name suggests. It’s warm and earthy with flecks that I think give our prints such character and individuality. Like elephants, each print is unique. It is unbleached and made from 100% de-inked post consumer waste, carbon balanced and is 100% recycled and fully recyclable - not that you’d be wanting to throw this away! 

None of the inks used to create our prints contain any animal products; they are non-toxic and made with organic pigments. 

All our products are designed by a Northern mum  and printed and made in the UK.

All orders will be dispatched within 2 working days using second class post. I do this to keep the postage costs down to a minimum for you - however if you need alternative postage then please contact me before ordering.
